Last week we breached the subject of AI or Artificial intelligence – and while a lot of people out there don’t really know what this is – if you do a search for this on Youtube – there are hundreds of credible of video that talk about what it is and what it could be for the Human race. The Experts have been talking about this for the last 4-5 years.
And whether it will serve the Best of intentions or the most Dastardly of plans – THE RACE IS ON!
Stay with me -because I am going to wrap this up with who will be the biggest victims and the biggest beneficiaries in the very near future.
If you are optimistic – and you already have Alexa and Siri answer the most trivial questions for you – you can’t wait for more.
And if you are skeptical about the intentions of a superintendence surpassing the human intellect -as we discussed last week – You might be open to getting one of Elon Musk’s Neuralink implanted in your brain – because you want to use it to your advantage and not be a prisoner to it.
There is growing concern that AI may become properly sentient and super-intelligent, displacing humans and rendering them obsolete. Elon Musk, Bill Gates and Stephen Hawking have all opined that this reality is not so far off.
Where We Stand– Last week – we talked about how it can very quickly learn and adapt and improve and at speed we can’t relate to. There is debate as to how long it will take to become as smart as a human being and there are many that believe that it will be infinitely smarter that the smartest human alive.
Let me give you an example. You 2 on are TV and you need to be engaging when you are on air – and you are. You have to never be at a loss for words no matter what happens. I Really respect how do you it. But if one of you were and AI host and the other one wasn’t the human wouldn’t be able to keep up.
You know how after the fact you think, Man I wish I would have said this – or referenced that! When if you had the computing speed it would easily be like having ONE YEAR to think about what you are going to say in between sentences. Think about the variables you could consider and all the data you could reference if you were operating at that speed.?!
And that is if you were hosting an award winning Morning lifestyle show.
But what if you were contemplating a cure for Cancer,
or how Interstellar travel might be possible,
or even how to influence peoples buying habits
or how to influence them on how to VOTE!
What kind of leverage would that give you?
4 Who would be interested in that?
These guys would! And the Race is on! Because if you have a 6 month advantage – the 2nd one in the game will NEVER CATCH UP! So one would hope that the winner would be the one with the BEST OF INTENTIONS.
What AI is doing for us now Artificial Intelligence is already able, as many of us have seen for ourselves, to drive vehicles and negotiate obstacles. This is being used in modern civilian life, and has applications for military operations and space exploration.

In the recent few years, we have seen the use of Artificial Intelligence and its technologies in weather and climate forecasting. The field of “Climate Informatics” is constantly blossoming as it inspires a fruitful collaboration between data scientists and climate scientists.
This has given the man a much-needed insight into extreme climatic events so that possible disasters and natural hazards can be given a wide berth.
